Renovation of a power facility in Abilene, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, and services necessary to replace the Substation Alpha Feeder Protection Relays at Building 11912. The work includes installation and wiring of two (2) new GE 850 Feeder Protection Relays furnished by the Government in accordance with NEC and NETA standards. The contractor shall program the new relays to match the settings of the existing GE 760 relays using settings provided by the Electrical Shop, perform functionality testing without load, and coordinate with the Electrical Shop prior to energizing primary voltage for testing and commissioning. The contractor shall complete commissioning and full-load testing of both relays with representatives from Electrical, Contracting, and R&O present as witnesses. Coordination with the Electrical Shop is required before conducting any power outages necessary for acceptance testing. Location: Building 11912, Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene, TX 79607.
