Replacement of cabinets and counter tops. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award , unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid (PRC# 2026025287). Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured . Upon completion of the Kitchen before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with project manager. 1. General Project Description: Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and disposal to replace all existing kitchen base and wall cabinets and all countertops with new, in the exact same footprint and layout as shown in reference photo. This is a replace in kind renovation, no layout changes, no moving plumbing, gas, electrical. Contractor to verify all dimensions before ordering. 2. Demolition & Preparation Protect all flooring, doorways, and adjacent areas. Existing vinyl flooring to remain. Carefully remove and dispose of all existing cabinets (upper and lower), countertops, and trim. Disconnect and later reconnect existing sink, faucet, and dishwasher. Appliances electric range, dishwasher, over range hoods to remain and be reinstalled. Remove existing countertop backsplash side splash. Dispose of all debris off site per NYS code. 3. New Cabinets to match existing look. Material: Solid oak with oak veneer plywood box construction to match existing oak cabinets as close as possible. Framed construction 3/4" plywood boxes, 3/4" adjustable plywood shelves Solid oak face frames, doors, and drawer fronts Style: Slab recessed flat center panel with solid wood frame. Finish: To match existing. Hardware: Concealed soft close hinges and soft close full extension drawer glides. Brushed nickel pulls owner to select. Toe kick: Oak veneer to match. 4. New Countertops Remove and replace all countertops with the same L-shape configuration. A) Laminate color to be determined. Include new 4" backsplash in same material. Cutout for existing double bowl stainless sink to be reinstalled, if new sink needs to be installed DDSO will provide. Linear footage: Approx. 18-20 LF of countertop - Contractor to field measure. Reinstall owner's existing sink, faucet, dishwasher, electric range, and over-range vent hoods. If new faucet needs to be installed DDSO will provide Reconnect plumbing at sink and dishwasher, ensure no leaks. No plumbing relocation. Reinstall range and ensure level and anti-tip. All caulking at countertop to wall, fill holes, touch-up paint as needed at wall areas disturbed. Adjust all doors, drawers for even reveals and smooth operation. Clean jobsite.
