All questions regarding the meaning or interpretation of the bidding documents shall be directed in writing to the purchasing officer. Unless otherwise specified in the Solicitation, questions received less than ten (10) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of bids may not be answered. Furnish and install all equipment, cables, terminations, labor, miscellaneous equipment and all services necessary to make complete and functioning systems in the Kentucky Parks Jenny Wiley Conference Center here after specified and shown on the drawings provided. Any items required to achieve this shall be provided whether or not they are specifically mentioned herein . All AV wires shall be in conduit or raceway except where shown otherwise. All work for evaluating the audio-video systems for proper operation and, where necessary, debugging or correcting system problems shall be done by qualified personnel with the appropriate industry certifications. These specifications are based on equipment that maintains a standard for design , quality and performance. The contractor shall include in the base bid all equipment as hereinafter specified and all necessary hardware, power supplies, interfaces, etc. as may be required to provide for complete and properly operating system. The contractor may submit proposed substitutions for review by the owner. The proposed equipment substitutions shall include a monetary value. Complete documentation of the intended substitutions shall be submitted with the initial bid submittal. The system should be wired and installed in accordance with manufacturers' drawings and specifications and should be left in first class working condition. The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating conduit or raceway size, quantity, and type that are used are suitable for the intended use and equipment that will be supplied. The contractor shall review the proper installation of each type of device with the equipment supplier. The project is for interior upgrades to the existing conference center including finishes at conference room areas, office, and entry area. New work include a new door and partition installed to separate current storage and coat check area to separate coat check room and storage room. An alternate is noted in the documents for finish and fixture work in the restrooms. Electrical and mechanical scope includes fixture replacement. A/V systems include new equipment, wire and data rack. Data rack is located outside of the primary scope areas and is noted on the documents. Documents include all work scope.
