RFQ Responses shall be submitted electronically The Building B Replacement Project consists of hazardous materials abatement and demolition of the existing Building B and portions of Parking Lot I , followed by construction of a new 43,100 GSF multi-level academic facility designed to achieve LEED Gold certification and exceed current energy code performance by at least 15 percent. The new building will include flexible classrooms, specialized labs administrative offices, collaboration zones, study lounges, and event areas to support the Fashion, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Anthropology programs. Site and systems improvements include utility upgrades, LID stormwater strategies, reconfigured ADA and EV-ready parking, a Signature Gateway at Carson and Clark, enhanced outdoor learning and gathering spaces, and upgraded lighting, wayfinding, and safety features. The project will incorporate high-performance MEP, AV/IT, and security systems, support rooftop photovoltaics and expanded EV charging, and ensure universal accessibility and seamless integration with the Central Quad, adjacent academic cores, and surrounding neighborhoods.
