Design and construction services are required to provide a permanent concrete foundation and associated site improvements for a retired HH-60G Pave Hawk static display. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, permits, testing, documentation, and incidental services necessary to complete a contractor-designed construction project. The work includes utility verification, site verification and layout, clearing and grubbing, limited demolition, excavation and earthwork, export and disposal of excavated soil, irrigation modifications, construction of an oval or elliptical concrete display pad, aircraft support and anchoring features, static grounding, evaluation and installation of lightning protection measures, solar-powered perimeter lighting, grading and stormwater drainage improvements, and landscape restoration of disturbed areas. The display pad is anticipated to be approximately 64 feet long by 25 feet wide with an area of about 1,256 square feet. The contractor will coordinate aircraft orientation, clearances, placement, and tiedown requirements with the Government and account for rotor and tail overhang. Preparation, restoration, preservation treatment, or refurbishment of the aircraft is not included in the requirement. Location: Moffett Air National Guard Base, Santa Clara County, California.
