AUDIO SYSTEM DESIGN & UPGRADE The selected contractor shall propose a full replacement and modernization of the theater's sound infrastructure and room acoustics to ensure superior sound clarity, reliability, and flexibility for a variety of performances and events. Proposals must include: 1. Speaker System & Engineering Design A. Proposer shall evaluate the architectural geometry and volume of the theater house. Proposer shall perform a professional acoustic evaluation of the theater space and furnish and install all necessary acoustic paneling, sound diffusion units, and echo/reverberation mitigation materials required to optimize the room's acoustics and support the proposed audio system . The turnkey supply and installation of these acoustic treatment materials and labor must be fully integrated into the Proposer's base lump-sum cost. 3. Infrastructure & Cabling A. Complete wiring and infrastructure upgrades, including replacement of outdated audio cabling, installation of upgraded signal routing systems, and professional rack/equipment organization. All network audio protocols must integrate smoothly. 4. Wireless Microphone System & Quantity Sizing A. The Proposer shall evaluate the facility's active performance types, stage dynamics, and multi-channel wireless needs to determine, propose, and justify the appropriate quantity of active wireless microphone channels for the venue. The package shall include a suitable combination of handheld transmitters and lavalier/bodypack transmitters with corresponding multi-channel receivers, professional antennas, and multi-bay charging stations, complete with local frequency coordination and interference mitigation. The turnkey supply and installation of all proposed wireless microphone inventory must be fully integrated into the Proposer's base lump-sum cost. Question Deadline 09/04/2026 at 2:00 PM ET While respondents may initially contact the Purchasing Division Director, all general and technical inquiries must be submitted and addressed via the City's e-Procurement Portal Question & Answer feature
