Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Fort Myers, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
To accommodate growth of southeast Lee County, the County has commissioned design and construction of the Southeast Water Reclamation Facility (SEWRF). The purpose of this project is support growth in Southeast Lee County in conjunction with the construction of the Southeast Water Reclamation Facility. The Southeast County Force Main Improvements Segment 2 Project will connect existing collection system force mains to the Southeast Water Reclamation Facility and divert flow from the Three Oaks Plant increasing treatment capacity. Due to the scope and complexity of the work, Utilities must proceed with construction ahead of the Alico Road corridor improvements to maintain project schedules. 2.2. The proposed project includes the following: 2.3. Segment 2: The Work to be done under this Contract consists of the construction engineering inspection of new 20-inch PVC and 24-inch HDPE force mains along Alico Road.
