Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, installation, controls, ventilation improvements, CO2 monitoring and control, testing, balancing, and commissioning for HVAC system. Frederick Area School District is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced HVAC contractors for HVAC improvements serving the District's gymnasium and associated spaces. The scope of this RFP is limited to the gymnasium and associated spaces and does not include HVAC improvements to the remainder of the school building. The District is seeking a complete, functional HVAC solution that provides appropriate heating, cooling, ventilation, indoor air quality, humidity control, and energy efficiency while maintaining the usability of the facility The primary objective of this project is to provide the Frederick Area School District with a reliable, efficient, and properly designed HVAC system that meets the current and anticipated needs of the facility. The proposed system shall: 1. Provide adequate heating and cooling throughout the designated spaces. 2. Provide adequate outdoor ventilation air. 3. Maintain acceptable indoor air quality. 4. Address ventilation requirements during high-occupancy events. 5. Provide effective CO2 monitoring and control. 6. Provide appropriate temperature and humidity control. 7. Provide energy-efficient operation. 8. Be compatible with the District's existing building systems to the greatest extent practical . 9. Be serviceable using readily available parts and qualified technicians. 10. Provide a safe, reliable, and maintainable system for long-term District use.
