Forsyth County is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to furnish and install storefront and handicap (ADA) door operators at five separate library locations. Work includes complete installation of new handicap operators, repairs, cleanup, removal of debris, and associated hardware requirements. Job Locations: Rural Hall Library -- 7125 Broad St. Rural Hall, NC 27045 Reynolda Library -- 2839 Fairlawn Dr Winston-Salem, NC 27106 Carver Library -- 4915 Lansing Dr Winston-Salem, NC 27105 Walkertown Library -- 2969 Main St. Walkertown, NC 27051 Southside Library -- 3185 Buchanan St. Winston Salem, NC 27127 Furnishing and Installing: 1. Rural Hall Library - Install handicap door operator ONLY. 2. Reynolda Library: a. Replace existing storefront door system. b. Install handicap operators on - Storefront doors and Interior entry/exit doors. 3. Southside Library: a. Replace existing storefront door system. including the side lights. Match existing layout and finishes. b. Install handicap operators on - Storefront doors and Interior entry/exit doors. 4. Carver Library: a. Replace existing storefront door system. Existing glazing is tinted. Contractor to match existing glazing. Provide physical sample for review and approval prior to fabrication of glazing. b. Install handicap operators on - Storefront doors and Interior entry/exit doors. c. bollard/post for the entrance. They would need to be secured with heavy duty anchor bolts into the concrete. 5. Walkertown: a. Install handicap operators on - Storefront doors and Interior entry/exit doors. b. For the two interior doors leading into the library for the automatic operators please inform the owner if there is no available operating power.
