A. Work Covered by Contract Documents 1. Name of the project is "Seed Building Addition", Project Number 24-02-85-01. Drawings and Specifications are dated August 2026. 2. Briefly and without force and effect upon contract documents, work of the contract can be summarized as follows a. The State Forest Nursery in Ames, Iowa is in need of additional storage space to store equipment used in production and extraction of tree seed. The new storage building will be of pre-engineered wood postframe construction with metal siding and roof. The interior will have an insulated concrete floor, LED lighting fixtures, multiple 110V receptacles, two suspended electrical heaters, water hydrant service, and two new in-floor drain-down pits with floor grates. B. Occupancy: 1. Owner: The DNR shall have the right to enter the building or work site and store or attach such fixtures or furniture as it may elect, or to do other work providing that such storage or work will not interfere with the completion of the Contractor's work.
