Replace in kind three existing exterior fire-rated steel door assemblies and associated hardware. Work includes removal and replacement of the existing door assemblies, restoration of security and fire protection functions, and maintenance of the buildings weather resistance. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). All work shall comply with applicable Davis-Bacon Act and Service Contract Act (SCA) wage determinations for the place and period of performance. The contractor shall provide proof of insurance as required by the contract. Provide a complete, secure, weather-tight, and serviceable one-for-one replacement of two existing exterior entry doors and directly associated hardware. The work is operational maintenance and shall restore the existing function without changing the building use or expanding the facility. Replace in kind: retain the existing openings, locations, general configuration, swing/handing, and intended use unless the Government approves a minor field adjustment. Non-complex work: no major structural modification, addition , facility expansion, load-bearing wall change, or substantial foundation work is included. No major utility, fire-alarm, intrusion-detection, or electronic access-control installation or reconfiguration is included. Any such need is outside this scope and shall be reported to the COR. Use standard commercial installation methods and connect only to existing conditions required for the door renewal .
