Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Repair asphalt potholes in the parking lot in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and associated diagrams. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the repairs. Quoters must provide proof of insurance. All wages and benefits shall comply with the applicable Service Contract Act (SCA) and/or Davis-Bacon Act requirements for the place of performance, period of performance, and work performed. Site Preparation a. The Contractor shall assess all areas designated by attachment Patching Diagram. b. The Contractor will clean and repair all holes in designated areas with proper material prior to application of tack coat and HMA. C. The Contractor shall ensure that the entire surface to be paved is cleaned with compressed air and any dust shall not be present for the adhesion of tack coat. d. The surface shall be prepared and cured for the period as per manufacturer's recommendations during the application of tack coat. 2. Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) a. The contractor shall determine the most appropriate materials for the completion of the project; all materials shall be approved by the COR before any application. b. The contractor shall lay HMA to best repair areas designated by attachment Patching Diagram. The HMA shall be laid and compacted to reduce low point allowing pooling of water and to permit the water to flow to the nearest practicable storm drain. c. Asphalt shall be compacted by rollers to provide a smooth and even surface. The areas inaccessible for rollers shall be compacted with plate compactors or hand tampers to the same standards. Compaction shall be completed to best serve the purpose of effective water drainage to storm drains as discussed above. d. Where edges of the newly laid HMA terminate, the termination shall be made in such a way to reduce the likelihood of chipping by snowplows or delamination by other means. 3. Patching Location: a. The contractor shall perform site preparation and apply HMA to the areas designated in Areas 1 , 2, & 3) of attachment Patching Diagram. The remediation will cover approximately 18,755 sqft.
