Outdoor lighting for a municipal facility in Lancaster, Tennessee. Completed plans call for outdoor lighting for a municipal facility.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Nashville District (LRN) intends to award a service contract for a crane with operator rental for the purpose of installing a High Mast Light within the facility at Center Hill in Lancaster, TN . Installation of one 80-foot High Mast Lighting Assembly (HMLA) including crane rental and operator services. The scope consists of the placement and erection of one ( 1 ) high mast lighting assembly herein referred to as HMLA . The work is located immediately downstream of Center Hill Dam in Lancaster, Tennessee . The work shall consist of safely prepping and picking approximate 80 foot, 800 lbs . HMLA to be erected on the concrete pedestal in accordance with the manufacture's recommendation as well as all Federal , State, and local laws , regulation and standards , the contract specifications , this statement of work , and identified drawings or attachments . It is the contractor's responsibility to provide the appropriate size crane, labor, and tools to perform the work in this document . 1. Scope of Work a . General requirement The contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, supervision, submittals , rigging, tool, transportation, permits , and material required to perform lifting and erection operations . ii All existing features such as not but limited to concrete surface of the roadway, topsoil , light poles, guardrails, and local facilities should be protected in place . Any damage to government properly shall be the contractor's responsibility to fix and correct at no additional expense to the government . b . Crane Requirement i Should be properly licensed and registered ii Must have current inspection and records available and submitted to the government 30 calendar before mobilization iii Have rated capacity adequate for all anticipated lifts with required safety factors 1 HMLA is estimated to be 80 feet tall and estimated to be 800 pounds . iv Include appropriate boom length and configuration v be operated only within manufacturer's load chart c . Personal Requirement i Shall be in compliance with EM385-1-1 section 16 1 2 NCCCO or equivalent certified crane operator Qualified rigger 3 Qualified signal person 4 Competent person to oversee lifting operation ii Certification should be submitted to the government for review 60 calendar before mobilization . d . Additional i The Government will identify the pedestal location for the HMLA to be constructed . Refer to Figure 1 ii The Government will inform the contractor 90 days before the expected mobilization date . iii The Government will close the identified Powerplant access road prior to contractors ' mobilization.
