Renovation of a military facility in Aklavik, Northwest Territories. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Procurement Shared Services (PSS) is requesting tenders on behalf of the Department of Infrastructure (INF) for the complete replacement of the external wall siding at an RCMP residence in Aklavik, NT. The Contractor shall provide all labour, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, site protection, disposal, incidental items and services necessary to remove the existing exterior wall siding and to install a complete new engineered wood siding system. The completed work shall be durable, weather-resistant, professionally finished, and installed in accordance with the siding manufacturer's written requirements, all applicable codes, and good construction practice. The location of the project is 34 Tornow Avenue, Aklavik, Northwest Territories, House number G037, for the government of the Northwest Territories. RCMP-specific site access, security clearance, personnel screening, identification, and operational requirements are applicable to this project. However, all the Contractor's employees are required to be security cleared before the commencement of the project.
