Renovation of a municipal facility in Penticton, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Through this Request for Proposals, the City of Penticton invites submissions for the provision of a new, complete, operational and tested cooling tower system as described herein and indicated within the included drawings in full conformance with all applicable codes, standards and ordinances. Documents can be obtained from https://penticton.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities/110880 The scope of the upgrade work for this project generally includes the following: Demolition and replacement of existing mechanical equipment, including the cooling tower system and the closed -circuit air-cooled fluid cooler and associated equipment. Seismic support and restraints. Replacement of cooling water piping and pipe insulation as shown. Pre-operational pipe cleaning and chemical treatment for existing and new hydronic piping. Condensate drainage and piping. Firestopping. Controls. Water balancing systems. Electrical work associated with the upgrade.
