The Contractor shall perform a comprehensive inspection of all 13 gas boilers and calibrate the associated gas sensors. The Contractor must troubleshoot any conditions that affect the proper operation of the boilers. Bidders are responsible for verifying all site conditions and quantities prior to bid submission. The work includes providing a complete inspection and troubleshooting service, submitting a detailed assessment checklist identifying all deficiencies, and providing a line-item cost estimate for corrective actions. The inspection shall include, at a minimum, evaluation of mounting, isolators, and filter components; the burner and gas train; breeching and combustion air systems; boiler condition and chemical treatment; fan functionality; sight glass, water piping, gas piping, and associated valves; electrical connections, including the disconnect switch and safety circuits; control systems, firing sequences, and interlocks; safety controls, flame safeguards, and low water cutout devices; pressure and temperature gauges; and testing of the safety relief valve. The Contractor shall also calibrate all gas sensors and verify proper communication with the Building Automation System (BAS).
