Demolition, site work and environmental remediation for a fire / police facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; and for environmental remediation for a fire / police facility.
Remove and decommission underground diesel fuel storage tank and associated fuel pump. 1. Underground Storage Tank Properly remove and/or decommission the existing underground diesel storage tank. Remove associated fuel lines and piping as required. Remove any remaining fuel or petroleum products. Properly dispose of the tank and associated materials. Complete all required State of Michigan regulatory notifications, inspections, testing, and documentation. 2. Diesel Fuel Pump Remove the existing diesel fuel pump/dispenser. Remove associated piping, electrical components, and equipment. Properly dispose of all removed equipment. 3. Concrete and Bollards Remove the existing concrete surrounding the fuel pump. Remove the existing bollards. Haul away and properly dispose of demolition debris. 4. Site Restoration Properly backfill and compact the excavation. Install new concrete to match the surrounding pavement. Restore the area to a safe and finished condition. Provide new bollards if requested by the City.
