Site work and renovation of a detention facility in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Removal and replacement of electronic and electrical components, drive/controller, hoist motor, hoistway leveling device, governor, traction ropes, traveling cable, and car components for two elevators. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Removal and replacement of, but not limited to, Elevators C and D electronic and electrical components, drive/controller, hoist motor, hoistway leveling device(s), governor, traction ropes, traveling cable, and car components to return Elevators C and D to fully operational. Start up, commissioning, and staff training are required. 2. Contractor shall perform job site clean-up and removal of all excess materials, debris, and old equipment associated with the project. Removal and disposal of all debris must be completed in accordance with all applicable Federal , State, and Local laws pertaining to such work. 3. Contractor shall haul away and dispose of the old equipment through an approved licensed scrap metal recycling entity within five (5) business days of its removal from the institution. Evidence of the appropriate recycled action shall be provided to the institution's Contacting Officer in the way of a tonnage weight receipt to FDC Houston by the selected recycler.
