Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. The improvements include rehabilitation of existing 48" CMP, 54" x 48" brick arch, and 96" x 78" stone arch storm sewer by spray-on geopolymer method. This work includes cleaning, repairing, and relining sections of storm sewer comprised of differing materials and structure sizes as described in the plans. Repair work includes void filling and invert rehabilitation with a selfleveling mortar To construct two storm sewer re-lining segments in the vicinity of West South Street and Monmouth Boulevard, west of Academy Street, within the southwestern portion of the corporate limits of the City of Galesburg in Knox County. No oral interpretation will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Contract Documents or any part thereof. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Local Public Agency. Any inquiry received seven or more days prior to the date fixed for opening the Bids will be given consideration. Every interpretation made to a Bidder will be in the form of an Addendum to the Contract Documents, and when issued , will be on file in the office of the Local Public Agency and the office of the Engineer at least five days before Bids are opened . In addition, all Addenda will be mailed to each person holding Contract Documents, but it shall be the Bidder's responsibility to make inquiry as to the Addenda issued. All such Addenda shall become part of the Contract and all Bidders shall be bound by such Addenda, whether or not received by the Bidders.
