The objective of this project is to modernize the elevator control system, improve reliability, maintainability, and operational safety, and ensure continued safe operation of the elevator. 2. Scope of Work The Respondent shall provide and install: New controller power unit upgrade including all required power management and control components. Replacement of existing Dover DMC 1 and DMC 1 /A microprocessor boards. New microprocessor-based elevator control system designed to perform all functions necessary for safe elevator motion. Replacement and integration of new, unused microprocessor boards associated with: The Respondent shall provide and install: o New controller power unit upgrade including all required power management and control components. All hardware required to: O Connect and transfer power; Interrupt power safely when required; Protect the motor from overload conditions. Proper shielding and protection of controller cabinet memory equipment from electrical line interference and power pollution. Protective barriers, covers , or guards to prevent accidental contact with all high-voltage components (110V and above) when controller cabinet doors are open. System programming, software configuration, and commissioning required for proper operation of the upgraded system. All supplied equipment, components, assemblies, and materials shall be new, unused , and of current manufacture.
