Question Deadline 09/15/2026 at 2:00 PM ET For questions in regards to the bid specifications, the City requires and only responds to questions submitted in writing and sent via email to: Bids@havelocknc.us Scope: The existing sewer main line between the TH32 and TH33 manholes on Forest Hill Drive is a 10" ductile iron pipe approximately 11 ' deep and the distance between the two manholes is approximately 220'. The ductile iron pipe has infiltration in four locations due to damage or corrosion at approximately 91 ' at a lateral connection (see Figure 2), 93 ' at a lateral connection (see Figure 2), and 138' from manhole TH32 going toward TH33 (see Figure 3 ). A fourth area of infiltration is approximately 14 feet from manhole TH33 going towards TH32 (see Figure 4). Four fiberglass CIPP repair sleeves shall be put in place to repair the 10 ductile iron gravity sewer line piping. The existing sewer main line between the P76 and P79 manholes on Shepard Street is an 8 ductile iron pipe approximately 8 feet deep and the distance between the two manholes is approximately 300' . The ductile iron pipe has infiltration in two locations due to damage at approximately 65 upstream of P79 (see Figure 6) and 40' downstream of P76 (see Figure 7). The infiltration 40 ' downstream of P76 has developed a root ball that will need removed before the repair can be made. Two fiberglass CIPP repair sleeves shall be put in place to repair the 8 ductile iron gravity sewer line piping. During the installation of the fiberglass CIPP sleeves, if there is any need to make a confined space entry into either of the listed manholes, all confined space entry procedures shall be followed per OSHA regulations.
