The successful contractor shall inspect approximately 30,000 meter boxes annually, with each meter box inspected on a five-year cycle. 1. Objective The primary objective of this program is to systematically inspect all meter boxes within the defined service area to ensure compliance with current safety, operational , and regulatory standards. The program seeks to identify defects, maintenance needs, accessibility concerns, and compliance issues, thereby promoting reliability, safety, and regulatory adherence. 2. Scope o Coverage Area: All meter boxes located within the defined service area boundaries. Inspection Criteria 1. Safety Compliance: Evaluate structural integrity, hazardous conditions, grounding, and signs of physical damage or corrosion. 2. Operational Performance: Verify accurate metering, proper connections, seal integrity, and functional components. 3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to current codes, standards, and utility regulation S. 4. Maintenance Needs: Identify worn-out or degraded components, potential failure points, and schedule recommendations. 5.
