Question Deadline 09/10/2026 at 4:00 PM MT All questions are to be submitted on the online Direct Website. scope of work: the research lab renovation project is located in the northeast quadrant of the 2nd level of the existing 4 story heb chemistry building with incidental work in the existing floor below, and adjacent central mechanical shaft. the project is comprised of the selective demolition of existing gyp.bd. stud partitions, vct and carpet flooring, door assemblies, hvac, piping, and electrical systems; new construction consists of new painted gyp. bd. and stud partitions, epoxy & tile & carpet flooring, lay-in and painted gyp.bd. ceiling systems, door assemblies, hvac, piping , and electrical systems; signage; and the upgrade and maintenance of all life safety components such as fire alarm , fire sprinkler, lighting and exiting. new lab equipment, fume hoods, lab equipment, and lab benching , along with relocation and reuse of existing fume hoods and lab equipment. new u.l. rated 1 hr. gyp.bd. stud wall assembly separating lab from non -labareas and rooms. existing 8" cmu vertical shaft, door assemblies, new and existing penetrations will be upgraded to provide the required 2 hr. fire rating, with u.l. rated fire caulking assemblies and 90 minute rated door assemblies. thus, creating the required separate lab control area.
