Site work, new construction and renovation of a multi-residential development in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 50,968-square-foot, six-story above grade multi-residential development; and for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The proposed six-storey residential care development is located at 922 Main Street, being on the southwest corner of Main Street and Balsam Avenue intersection in the City of Hamilton, ON. The existing site currently consists of an existing church building, an asphalt parking lot and grass areas. The existing building is to remain, and the residential care facility addition is proposed to replace the existing asphalt parking lot to the east of the building. The purpose of the service assessment is to determine the functional sizing of the water and sanitary services , in addition to the post-development flows from the site to determine the impact on the existing municipal infrastructure. Installation of fire sprinkler system for a 6-storey residential building and adaptive reuse of a heritage church structure.
