Demolition, site work and renovation of a conference / convention center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 205,000-square-foot conference / convention center; and for the demolition of a conference / convention center.

The purpose of this RFP is to select one (1) qualified firm to provide general contractor services for the Ocean Center Commercial Kitchen Renovation Project. This project aims to elevate the kitchen's capabilities to meet the growing demands of Ocean Center events while improving the quality and presentation of food offerings for Ocean Center clients. This project includes complete renovation of an existing commercial kitchen. Work begins with demolition of all existing equipment, fixtures, and finishes. New systems will be installed including HVAC with exhaust hoods and fire suppression, complete plumbing with water lines, drains, grease traps, and gas lines, and electrical service with dedicated panels, equipment circuits, and LED lighting. All work will be performed to current code requirements and include necessary permits and inspections. The contractor will supply the temporary kitchen for the duration of the project. The project work schedule will be seven days a week. New commercial kitchen equipment will be provided and installed as specified , including all cooking equipment, refrigeration systems, prep tables, sinks, dishwashing equipment, and storage solutions. New floors, walls, and ceilings will be installed with commercial-grade materials suitable for kitchen use. The project includes testing and commissioning of all systems, staff training, final cleaning, and delivery of all manuals and warranty documentation. The County Council has established a policy to encourage participation of local businesses in the provision of goods and services.
