Double (two-course) bituminous surface treatment (chip seal) on approximately 475 linear feet of Lange Road. Scope of Work - Bidders shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the following: Mobilization/Demobilization Surface Preparation. Contractor shall inspect the base and notify the Town of any areas it considers unsuitable for surface treatment before proceeding. First Course Application: Apply bituminous emulsion and cover aggregate (Course 1) at rates consistent with WisDOT standard specifications for the aggregate gradation and traffic conditions on this roadway. Roll immediately following aggregate application. Second Course Application: Apply bituminous emulsion and cover aggregate (Course 2), rolled and swept per WisDOT standard practice for double chip seal. Sweeping: Sweep excess/loose aggregate from the finished surface following cure, per WisDOT standard practice (initial sweep and final sweep).
