Final subgrade preparation and geomembrane lining of 415 and 500 reservoirs, including geocomposite over asphalt, venting components, HDPE embedment-strip connections, depth gauges, toe-of-slope markers, anchor trenches, and concrete pad installation. Before releasing each reservoir work area, the District will perform specified predecessor work consisting generally of initial dewatering; removal of muck, sediment, soft or wet material, and designated existing concrete; handling or disposal of removed material ; placement of approved fill; compaction of District-placed fill; and rough grading to within plus or minus 0.5 foot of the design finished subgrade elevations. The Contractor's Work generally includes verification of the District-delivered surface; final grading and subgrade preparation; geocomposite over existing asphalt where shown; geomembrane liner; venting components; HDPE embedment-strip connections; depth gauges and toe-of-slope markers; anchor trenches; the concrete pad at the 500 Reservoir outlet structure; testing; and related work.
