The City Of Alamosa, will be accepting bids for the renovation to the existing Centennial Park at 512 State Avenue Project Scope The work includes the demolition and reconstruction of the existing Centennial Park in downtown Alamosa. Construction includes new concrete curbs and pavers, new street furnishings, new site lighting and landscaping. The bid must be placed in one envelope with the name of bidder and bidder's address, securely sealed, and clearly labeled: "Centennial Park Revitalization Project". The City of Alamosa shall not be responsible for premature opening of bids not properly labeled. All bids are to be submitted on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials. Only those bids received by the Public Works Department will be eligible for consideration. Any bid received after the closing time, regardless of the method of delivery, shall be returned unopened to the bidder. The successful bidder will be required to begin the work outlined herein and depicted on the project plans, particularly the demolition of the existing park in the Fall of 2026 and whether dependent, continue work during the winter with a completion by March 2027. The low bidder shall supply the names and addresses of major material suppliers and subcontractors when required to do so by the Owner. All work is to be guaranteed for a period of two years following final acceptance. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date fixed for bid opening. The City of Alamosa reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bids submitted and to accept whichever bid that is in the best interest of the City, at its sole discretion.
