Site work for a water / sewer project in Salmon, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed project includes new channel construction, floodplain modifications in and adjacent to the Lemhi River to increase conveyance capacity and connect additional floodplain area. This project includes temporary water diversions/management, channel relocation, channel construction, riffle construction, floodplain excavation, installation of bank and floodplain roughness structures and associated rehabilitation work. Work is projected to begin as early as November 2026 and extend through October 2027. A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho is required of the successful bidder prior to the award of a contract if the bid amount is greater than $ 100,000. If a bidder does not currently have a Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho, they must verify the capability of obtaining a license prior to submitting a proposal. Include names and Public Works License number on Sub-Contractor List as part of bid if total project value is greater than $ 100,000.
