Renovation of a mixed-use development in Shiprock, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Questions are due no later than 9/4/2026 at 2:00PM ( MDT ) via email, only, to Rodney . Brown@ihs.gov . Verbal questions/inquiries will not be acknowledged or accepted. The objective of this project is to complete the modernization of AHU #5 by installing equipment that is fully compatible with the newly upgraded MicroTech III control system. The project includes: Replacement of two Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), one for the supply fan motor and one for the return fan motor. Replacement of one electronic hot water valve actuator. Integration and commissioning of the new VFDs and actuator with the upgraded MicroTech III control board. Verification of proper communication, control sequences, and operational performance of the air handling unit. Upon completion, the upgraded components will work in conjunction with the new control circuitry to improve system reliability, optimize airflow control, enhance energy efficiency, and extend the operational life of the existing AHU #5 serving the Facilities Shop and General Services areas.
