Environmental services include the remediation and disposal of Hazardous Materials, which include AsbestosContaining Materials, Asbestos-Containing Construction Materials, Lead -Based Paint, Lead-Containing Paint, Lead-Containing Building Materials, and Mold/Fungi Impacted Building Materials DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. General - Lead Abatement Contractor 1. The work specified herein covers: Preparation of the project site, disposal procedures, stabilization of lead-based paint for the following: Interior walls, doors, door frames, window frames, and/or window sills; Exterior - walls, window frames, roof overhangs, fascia, and/or porches; 2. Lead-based paint: List LBP Components 3. Lead-containing components: List LC Components 4. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, services, insurance, equipment, and decontamination facilities to carry out the work identified in this workplan. 5. All work shall be supervised by persons experienced in lead abatement. During all phases of work Contractor shall have at least one supervisory employee per work area (individual building) currently certified by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) as a Certified Lead Supervisor as specified in CCR Title 17, Section 35008. All work shall be performed by employees currently certified by CDPH as a Certified Lead Worker as specified in CCR Title 17, Section 35009. 6. Where methods or procedures are specified in this work-plan, they shall constitute minimum measures and shall in no way relieve Contractor of sole responsibility for the means, methods, techniques, sequences or safety measures in connection with the work. 7. Damages caused during the performance of abatement activities shall be repaired by Contractor at no additional expense to HACLA. Contractor is responsible for restoring the work area to conditions equal or better than original. Federal/HUD Dust-Lead Action Levels (DLALs) are as follows: 1. Floors: >= 5 micrograms per square foot (ug/ft2) 2. Interior windowsills: >= 40 ug/ft2 3. Exterior porches > 40 ug/ft2 4.
