Ave H Residential Structure (Abatement Required) 6.2 1412 W. Pea Ridge Rd. Residential and Accessory Structures The awarded contractor shall notify the City project manager before the start of the demolition to verify the proper scope of work for each property. b. The City will coordinate the disconnection of electric, water and natural gas utilities prior to the start of demolition . It will be the responsibility of the awarded contractor to verify that all utilities have been disconnected prior to the start of the demolition. c. All water and wastewater lines shall be removed to within 10 feet of the property line and are to be capped and flagged by the awarded contractor. All foundation structures are to be removed to a depth of 2 feet below grade. The awarded contractor shall provide any water and electricity needed for the demolition activities. e. Specifications for the demolition activities for the property location, aerial map, and photographs are provided in Attachment 6.1.-6.7. f. 1616 W. Ave H : As reflected in the Building Inspection Report for Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACBM), provided as a separate document, testing of the residential structure indicated asbestos detected in approximately 2,150 sf of drywall texture/debris. Additional asbestos was detected in 750 sf of exterior siding. g. Onsite air monitoring during the abatement is required and will be provided by Austin Environmental, Inc. Air monitoring services will be funded by the City for a maximum of 4 days for each location . Any additional time requested would be at the cost of the contractor. h. All Other Locations: According to Texas Administrative Code 296.191 (g)(4)(A), all properties are exempt from asbestos survey and abatement requirements since the structure is not located on the same site (within 660 feet) and under the control of the same owner as another residential structure that is planned for renovation or demolition within the same calendar year.
