Site work and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Rochester, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
All requests for RFQ/P clarification must be submitted, in writing, to the RFQ/P Procurement Officer at the email address provided in Section 1 and received no later than 3:00 PM EST on September 4, 2026. A critical component of MCWA's transmission system is the Genesee River Crossing near High Falls in the City of Rochester. This 20" diameter steel water main was installed in 1974 and is affixed to the CSX bridge and its own structural steel or concrete supports. Questions that arise prior to or during proposal preparation must be submitted in writing or via email. MCWA requires Consultants to utilize their best efforts to achieve goals for Minority Business Enterprises ( MBE's) and Women's Business Enterprises (WBE's) participation on this project. On this project, that goal is a combined participation by MBE and WBE firms on a minimum of twelve percent (12% ) of the total bid price. Further, neither the MBE or WBE participation should be less than two (2%) of the total bid price. You should address how your firm will achieve this goal.
