The project consists of the complete design, permitting, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of a new grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) system for the Kentucky National Guard . The system shall be installed as a solar-covered parking structure within the existing POV parking area and shall include all structural, civil, electrical, communications, and associated site improvements necessary to provide a complete, operational system . The PV system shall include inverters with a minimum combined AC rating of 200 kW and a photovoltaic array with a minimum DC rating of 234 kW, capable of producing not less than 300,000 kWh during the first year of operation. The Design-Build Team shall optimize the system to maximize long-term energy production while maintaining compliance with applicable utility, building, electrical, and safety requirements. The project shall include inverter gateways with Ethernet connectivity and BACnet/IP capability for integration with the existing Building Automation System, together with a secure web-based monitoring platform capable of displaying real-time and historical inverter production, total PV production, and facility electrical consumption. The monitoring system shall retain a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of operational data. The Design-Build Team shall provide all required programming, commissioning, training, and owner documentation.
