Demolition, site work and renovation of a swimming pool in Cumberland, Maryland. Completed plans call for the demolition of a swimming pool; for the renovation of a swimming pool; and for site work for a swimming pool.
Demolition of the existing single-flume water slide structure and installation of a concrete slab at the Constitution Park Pool. This project, the 2026-05A-RECR Constitution Park Pool Slide Demo Project, is being put out to bid simultaneously with the Slide Replacement Project, 2026-05B-RECR. In the event that different bidders win each project, the bidder shall coordinate with the City to determine a construction timeline, which must be completed prior to April 1, 2027. If Alternative 2 is chosen for the slide replacement, then the City may work with the Contractor and choose to delay the demo project to occur after April 1, 2027.
