Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Moab, Utah. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project will be designated as Reconstruction (4R) with one segment of restoration (3R), and will design and construct 100' span concrete bridges at the Salt Valley Wash, Salt Wash, and Winter Camp Wash. The DA roadway profile at each Wash will be raised to accommodate a 10-year design frequency and allow a medium-sized excavator to access each wash. The DA will be realigned at the Salt Valley wash, moving the roadway and new bridge location to the north of the existing roadway and drainage crossing. The remaining 3R sections of the roadway will receive full depth reclamation (FDR) or removal of pavement, including all parking areas, followed by a 4-inch pavement overlay. Total estimated cost between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000 . The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
