Procurement, installation, training, and implementation of an integrated security management system. The contractor shall furnish a complete and functional security system, including all required labor, materials, and equipment. The selected vendor will be responsible for delivering, installing, testing, and supporting the system to ensure operational functionality. Any use of subcontractors or other vendors to install or maintain security system components, other than cabling, conduit, and power work, requires advance approval from DEA Headquarters, Physical Security Section. The proposed solution will be evaluated for technical accuracy, completeness, suitability, and overall capability to meet security requirements. GSA or open market pricing will be utilized, whichever is most advantageous to the Government. Installation of cabling equipment, testing and training associated with the security system shall be included. Work shall be coordinated with the General Contractor and other Subcontractors to meet the intended construction schedule. Under normal circumstances it is required that the system will be operational at least one week before occupying the space.
