Description

The County of Goliad intends to participate in the Texas Community Development Block Grant program through the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA). These services are being solicited to assist the County in its application and administration of the TxCDBG Grant Agreement, if awarded, to support the following: o 2027 Community Development Fund, one or more projects classified as regional first priority (water and sewer improvements; flood drainage improvements; street improvements; housing rehabilitation) o 2028 Community Development Fund, if offered by TDA, one or more projects classified as regional first priority (water and sewer improvements; flood drainage improvements; street improvements; housing rehabilitation); Accordingly, the County is seeking to contract with a qualified professional Administrator or Service Provider (individual/firm) to prepare the application and/or administer the awarded grant. The County reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Requests for proposals for design services is underway.
