Walker County intends to participate in the Texas Community Development Block Grant program through the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA). These services are being solicited to assist the City/County in its application and administration of the TxCDBG Grant Agreement, if awarded, to support the following: 2028 Community Development Fund, if offered by TDA, one or more projects classified as regional first priority (water and sewer improvements; housing rehabilitation);Accordingly, Walker County is seeking to contract with a qualified professional Administrator or Service Provider (individual/firm) to prepare the application and/or administer the awarded grant. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Requests for proposals for design services is underway.
