Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Churubusco, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
Work includes construction and/or improvements associated with installation of new water insertion valves within the Town of Churubusco. Project includes installation of 14 (fourteen ) insertion valves ranging from 4 inches to 12 inches and work shall include all mobilization, materials, labor, equipment and incidentals to complete the installation of the valves as well asl all site restoration. BASE BID: Insertion Valve Replacement (Valves 2,6,7,8,9,10,11 and 12) ALTERNATE 1: Insertion Valve Replacement (Valves 1,3,4, 5 and 13) Work shall be substantially complete by May 1, 2027. Final completion- June 1, 2027. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. Bids shall be submitted in an enclosed opaque sealed envelope, marked "TOWN OF CHURUBUSCO WATER DISTRIBUTION IMPROVEMENTS, WATER VALVE ADDITION". Contractor shall coordinate Work with Jeremy Hart, Town Supervisor, at (260) 693-0551. Question Deadline 09/18/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of the Bids may not be answered.
