Site work and new construction of a road / highway in Brighton, Colorado. Completed plans call for the construction of a road / highway.
Installation of an overhead variable message sign at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Bridge Street, including furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials. Scope of Services The Contractor shall perform , at a minimum, the following services: Remove and properly dispose of the existing banner poles, hardware, and all associated components. Furnish and install new caissons and foundations in accordance with engineered requirements. Furnish and install new poles and mast arms designed to support the VMS units. Furnish and install two (2) new full-color LED Variable Message Signs. Refer to the attached specifications supplied by McCain, Inc. Furnish and install the new control cabinet, communications equipment, and associated hardware. Perform directional boring and install electrical service from the existing transformer to the new control cabinet. Perform directional boring and install fiber communications from the existing 4th Avenue and Bridge Street intersection to the new control cabinet. Complete system testing , integration, and commissioning of the full VMS system to ensure operability and communication functionality. Provide traffic control in full compliance with City standards and MUTCD requirements for the duration of the Work. Traffic control plan must be submitted and approved by the City prior to mobilization. Restore all disturbed areas to pre-construction condition or better, including cleanup and disposal of materials.
