Renovation of a library in East Haven, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
East Haven invites bids from qualified HVAC contractors for the purchase, delivery and installation of a replacement HVAC cooling system at the Hagaman Memorial Library. The work includes the full removal and replacement of designated, aging Mitsubishi HVAC components with new compatible units, including all delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and integration with the existing system . Removal of all replaced components is to be included in Proposer's cost details. A surety bond or check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid is to be enclosed with the Bid. Any questions may be directed, in writing only, no later than Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026 at 12:00 noon to Sarah Mallory, Library Director: smallory@biblio.org with copies to Charlie Coyle, Department of Public Works: ccoyle@easthaven-ct.gov and to Joan Fain, Purchasing Department: jfain@easthaven-ct.gov. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to check the Town website for any Addenda and to ensure the bid is received by the Purchasing Office on a timely basis. The Director of Finance and the Town reserve the right to reject any or all bids or to waive defects, or irregularities in same, if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
