Tuckpointing and sealing of the Natatorium gable. Scope of Work: Awarded Contractor will supply all materials, equipment, tools, mobilizations and labor to complete this turnkey project. North Side Gable Rec Plex Natatorium 1. Brick Facade: Wash, clean with detergent, remove and replace 100 percent of the tuckpointing of the gable end brick, expansion joints, remove and replace roof termination caulking, replace damaged bricks (as needed) and seal all masonry. All work as described in Technical Descriptions in bid documents. 2. Metal Roof Gable Coping: Remove and replace metal coping, continuous cleats and new fasteners, while coping is removed install closed-cell spray polyurethane foam Insulation. All work as described in Technical Descriptions in bid documents. South Side Gable Rec Plex Natatorium 1 . Metal Roof Gable Coping: Remove and replace metal coping and continuous cleats and new fasteners, while coping is removed install closed-cell spray polyurethane foam Insulation. All work as described in Technical Descriptions in bid documents. The awarded contractor is required to provide product specific submittals including but not limited to brochures, data sheets, specifications and application requirements. No work or notice to proceed will be granted until City of St. Peters staff has reviewed said submittals. Awarded contractor shall provide matching brick and grout samples for review by City staff and receive authorization of use prior to demolition. All work associated with the Rec Plex Natatorium Tuckpointing and Sealing Project shall be performed between the hours of 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. All work proposed during the weekend, weekend work defined as work performed between 3:30 P.M. Friday and 7:00 A.M. Monday is not permitted unless written approval is provided by the City. The awarded contractor shall submit a work schedule, consistent with the requirements stated in this document and schedule a preconstruction meeting to review with City representatives. Site Safety: The contractor needs to be conscious of high volume pedestrian traffic in multiple locations both day and night. The contractor will be required to make any adjustments necessary to create a clear safe path for pedestrian traffic at all times during the project. Any costs associated with providing safe ingress or egress to the Rec Plex building shall be incidental to the project bid. No additional cost will be paid to the contractor for any pedestrian traffic control or required adjustments to said pedestrian traffic control. The Contractor shall be responsible to have materials available to protect the building occupants, existing building surfaces, and building components from all work performed by the Contractor. The Contractor shall be responsible to protect the building, landscaping , turf and paved surfaces from damage as a result of equipment. Any areas damaged by the contractor will be repaired at the contractor's expense. It is recommended that the contractor note any existing conditions that may be damaged prior to work. Any such areas must be shared with the City of St. Peters designated project manager prior to any work performed . All protective efforts performed by the contractor are to be considered incidental to the base bid cost approved by the Contractor. The contractor shall be responsible to remove trash and debris daily and upon completion of project. The Contractor is responsible for all cost associated with removal , haul off and proper disposal of all spoil material generated by the project.
