The work of this project includes: This project replaces the existing HVAC return fan with two new QPAC fan array wall systems, including demolition of existing equipment and structural support; installation of new frame, sheet metal components, electrical equipment, power distribution, controls, and all associated incidental work; programming and integration with the existing Building Automation System (BAS); and testing, balancing, commissioning, and closeout to deliver a fully operational system. SUMMARY OF THE WORK A. The Work of this Project includes: The Work for this project includes the demolition and disposal of the existing HVAC return fan, associated supports, and internal fan room components. The CONTRACTOR will furnish and install two new Q-PAC fan array walls (FA-01 and FA-02), complete with all internal sheet metal , plenums, divider walls, access panels, and airflow transitions required for a fully operational system as per design drawings. 1. General Requirements General conditions as identified on contract documents, including and not limited to, obtain permit, verify existing conditions prior to construction, control dust, fumes, and debris during demolition and installation and all temporary support, rigging, access panels, and means and methods required to safely perform the Work. Perform all work in compliance with applicable codes and coordinate all trades. 2. Demolition Demolish the existing return fan , supports, electrical equipment, and associated components. Protect adjacent systems and dispose of materials off-site per regulations. 3. Furnish and Install Fan Array Wall Install new structural supports and anchorage. Furnish and install two Q-PAC fan array systems complete with plenums, transitions, required accessories. Build a fullheight double-wall sheet metal divider between the fan arrays. Provide bracing and support at the floor, fan array, and ceiling. Include internal reinforcement to prevent deflection. 4. Electrical, Controls and Commissioning Provide new power distribution , wiring, disconnects, and grounding. Integrate the fan arrays with the existing BAS and properly program it, including required control wiring. Provide manufacturer start-up, testing and balancing, functional testing, commissioning support, and closeout documentation. 5. All Remaining Work Provide all remaining labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidental work required to complete the project in accordance with the Contract Documents that is not specifically included in Items 1 to 4. This includes, but is not limited to, ductwork modifications, duct accessories and insulation, sheet metal work, roof penetrations and flashing, structural supports, patching and restoration, firestopping, sealing, trade coordination , labeling, testing and balancing support, cleanup, and all other work necessary to deliver a complete, fully operational , and code-compliant installationB.
