Reference number: 20170157 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2026-09-21 There is provision for a tendering process for each tender No Expected duration of the contract without options (in months) 12 Description Maintenance of winter roads for the 2026-2027 season From November 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027 The tenderer must comply with all the standards and conditions of these specifications if their tender is not rejected. The duration of the contract will start on 1 November 2026 and end on 31 March 2027. If for any reason the contractor neglects or refuses to perform his contract completely and faithfully, the municipality not only confiscates its deposit but also requires the successful bidder to reimburse it for any additional amount that it must pay due to its failure to fulfill its obligations. A certified cheque must accompany the submission. This certified cheque must be made payable to the Municipality of Bristol. It must represent 10% of the contractor's final price (see paragraph 4) multiplied by 81.77 km. Upon signing the contract, the successful bidder undertakes to provide, at its expense, a performance bond, certified check or bank letter of guarantee to ensure the completion of their contract without any additional cost to the municipality if, for any reason, the contractor was unable to complete his contract. The amount of this bond/performance bond must be 50% of the total contract value.
