Demolition and site work for a military facility in Birmingham, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a military facility.
Removal of three fuel tanks, including existing catwalk, scaffolding, and electrical components leading to Building 40. The Government requires the 1 Each contractor to environmentally close the remaining active fuel tank and removal of 3 total fuel tanks in addition to all catwalk, scaffolding, electrical components, electrical connections, and electrical conduit leading into the main office of Building 40. Each tank has a capacity of 5,500gal. Remove all wire and conduit from Building 40 that is associated with the fuel pad. Remove and dispose of existing fuel /water in tank 1. Purge tank and make safe for removal/disposal. Remove catwalk section associated with all three tanks. Remove all 3 tanks and haul off. Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)
