Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a 7,100-square-foot municipal facility.

2% VBE / PBE. Construction of new post frame building structures including insulated standing seam roof, overhead doors, man-doors, and concrete floors/aprons; construction of new concrete and wood framed building structure. Base bid includes construction of new post frame building structures at Carthage (IDOT 322-0001 at 8,064 square feet), Pittsfield (IDOT 416- 0001 at 4,992 square feet), and Quincy (IDOT 420-0004 at 4,224 square feet), including insulated standing seam roof, overhead doors, man-doors and concrete floors / aprons . Base bid also includes construction of new concrete and wood framed building structure at Riggston (IDOT 393-0002 at 7,100 square feet), including concrete floors / aprons. B. EXISTING CONDITIONS: None. C. PHASING OF WORK: The sites must remain open and operable for IDOT throughout the duration of construction. Special winter consideration must be given to scheduling the work, especially near existing salt storage buildings. D. RELATED WORK 1. WORK BY OTHERS: 630-000-301 Construct Whole Yard Generator project will also be under construction at the Carthage, Pittsfield and Riggson sites during the project. 630-000-287 Construct Office / Maintenance, Cold Storage and Salt Storage Buildings will also be under construction at the Riggson and Quincy sites during the project.
