The proposed work is as follows: The Project is located at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 2050 Detroit Dr, San Mateo, CA 94404. The work involves the construction of a polymer injection system to reduce sludge cake pump operating pressures and improve the reliability of the sludge handling process. The Work is generally described as follows: 2.1.1 . Construction of two new polymer pumps on concrete equipment pads. 2.1.2. Construction of two new polymer injection rings. 2.1.3 . Associated piping, valves, and appurtenances. 2.1.4. Associated electrical and instrumentation work, including new local control panel.
