Replacement and repair of wastewater pipes at two BCHA housing properties. The Boise City Housing Authority ("BCHA") is soliciting competitive bids from qualified outfits who have an active Public Works License to replace existing wastewater lines and vent piping at Capitol Plaza located at 700 W. Cunningham Place, Boise, ID and Franklin Plaza at 1555 W. Franklin Street, Boise, ID (totaling 160 units). The plumbing scope includes replacement of existing cast iron waste and vent stack riser piping serving the kitchen in each apartment. All vertical waste vent piping and connection fittings to horizontal waste and vent branches at each apartment, will be replaced with new cast iron pipe and fittings for a complete operating waste and vent system. All existing branch waste and vent piping serving each apartment kitchen will be reconnected to a new waste stack system . The Contractor will minimize downtime of affected units served by each waste stack system and provide the Owner with the planned downtime. The Contractor will schedule the work with the Owner prior to any construction.
