Renovation of a municipal facility in Farmington, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Demolition of existing asphalt shingles and installation of new asphalt shingle roofing systems. SCOPE OF WORK 1. At all locations the existing roof(s) and underlayment will be removed to expose the roof deck. 2. The roof deck will be inspected for damage and any repairs approved by the City will be completed based on cost of time and materials. 3. A new drip edge will be installed. 4. All existing roof vents will be reused or replaced based on condition as approved by the City. 5. All roof penetration boots will be replaced . 6. Roof ridge vents will be replaced or installed if not existing 7. A minimum 15# roofing felt will be installed. 8. All valleys will be lined with ice and water shield. 9. All shingles will be CertainTeed Landmark Pro, GAF Timberline HDZ, or Owens Corning Oak Ridge, or an approved equivalent. 10. All materials will be installed in accordance with manufacturer's recommendation. 11. Contractor will be responsible for the removal and disposal of all construction debris and will clean the site thoroughly of all nails and shingles.
